I’m giving away free autographed bookplates that you can paste on a page inside my novel to make it an autographed copy.

The bookplate is three inches high and four inches wide. In the centre, I have a Chinese word, "Foo" which means everything good—good luck, good fortune, good health etc. I have inverted this word because to do so means I’m wishing for all these good things to come knocking on your door now. This is all very Chinese, but then, I am Chinese.

To complete this Chinese theme, I will finish off my signature with a date and my Chinese seal (which is similar to the ones you see stamped on Chinese paintings and is usually done in red ink).

I like spreading good wishes. It costs me nothing to do this, and happily my wish for your wishes to come true may even work! In any case, I hope you like my bookplate.

I have no problem with local postage, but postage to international destinations may pose a problem if they prove very expensive. I shall not worry about this until this matter becomes a problem!
