Although currently out of print, my first published book, If I'd Known Where I Was Going, I'd Have Taken A Shortcut, grew out of my unsuccessful search for a cure of progressive blindness. I have taught creative writing and since 1996, have administered an on-line Novels workshop affiliated with the Internet Writing Workshop.
Most of the commentaries presented here derive from on-line discussions of the craft.
